Deep Tissue Massage
Targets chronic pain and tensions in deep layers of muscles. Deep tissue technique breaks down adhesions to relieve pain and restore normal movement of muscle and tendons. The goal is to restore upright posture, decrease symptoms of pain, break down scare tissue, increase range of motion.
Trigger Points Therapy
Organs, nerves, muscles and blood vessels are covered by fascia. The fascia that covers the muscles is also named Myofascia. Trigger points are adhesions of Myofascia. Trigger points can be activated by muscle overuse, inflammation, trauma, electrolytes imbalance, infections and nerve pain. Muscles with active trigger points are always weaker than normal muscles and unable to move through their range of motion. Trigger points therapy is useful in reliving back, neck, shoulder joints pain, headaches.
Myofascial Release
There is a web of connective tissue that covers and connects the muscles, organs and skeletal structures in our body. In a normal healthy state the fascia is very organized and flexible, with the ability to stretch and move without restrictions. Physical trauma and inflammation decrease myofascial pliability becoming tight, restricted and the source of tension in the rest of the body. Myofascial release helps with lower back pain, headaches, neck stiffness, sport injuries, joint movements, muscle spasm.
